Bamboo Swag

You may have seen the special segment on television recently about bamboo, and how the world is coming to realize how truly amazing this natural resource is.

Here are few little tidbits about it: there are over 1200 varieties of bamboo; it grows 18 inches per day (!), and when it is cut down, it is replenished very quickly. Bamboo is created and grown without any pesticides whatsoever. Zero. Zilch. No herbicides or chemicals of any kind. (Unlike, say, regular cotton t-shirts, for which one pound of chemicals is used for every tee!)

Items such as bamboo blankets and bamboo t-shirts are quickly becoming huge sellers at eco-swag.com. Not only for their environmental-friendliness, but because they're so darn soft and luxurious. The organic bamboo tees feel like one of your favorite tees you've had since high school, that's been washed 8000 times, that you just can't bring yourself to get rid of, because it feels so good when you put it on. The only difference being that the bamboo tees feel that way from Day One.

Golfers love the bamboo polo shirts because bamboo is naturally moisture-wicking (great for high-humidity areas!) and super soft.

In addition, you'll probably start seeing a lot more bamboo sheets, bed coverings, towels and shower curtains (all of which we carry, by the way) because it is naturally anti-bacterial and anti-microbial.

Bamboo is simply an amazing, sustainable, out-of-this-world-soft and comfortable, eco-friendly fiber, and we're thrilled to be able to provide so many items made from this all-natural material.

All of our bamboo products manufacturers have Eco-Tex (or Oeko-Tex) certifications, as well. The Eco-Tex Standard 100 is the world's leading human ecology product label for textiles that have been tested for hazardous substance content. Textiles carrying this product label have been tested and approved for certification by internationally renowned textile institutes.
